Many of our customers and especially the VW/Audi dealer techs were used to the old style repair manuals which had the information in a similar format than our WIKI now and they hate Guided Fault Finding because it does everything fully automatic and takes all actions out of the mechanics hand without telling them what it actually does.
But we do provide similar information through our WIKI like I did with your fault codes in the other thread. One could say now that VAG-COM is missing Guided Fault Findung and thats true. This means that VAG-COM does lack Guided Functions at the moment, but we are currently working on adding Guided Functions and you should see some first steps in the upcoming version 7xx of VAG-COM. In some cases VAG-COM's data is even more precise/complete than the data in the VAS. Now, this comparison is not 100% fair since VAG-COM already comes with many additional data by standard (like the VAS only has it in Guided Functions), while the VAS needs additional costs for the actual data.
