After comparing several swatches, I have found a list of alternative shades for this cult-favorite foundation. I have another MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation dupe to share with you! The next shade up on the dupe list is 'NC45', a bronze with golden undertones for dark skin.

Sometimes you'll look at your foundation and feel like it's close, but. This video shows the difference between MAC foundation/powder/concealer NC50 and NW45. But once applied, the shades meld into the skin and are wonderful. Some of these will swatch much darker/lighter than others on this list. Going by swatches is a quick way to fail at foundation matching. I go by what these foundations look like once they've settled onto the skin.
